POPSTim McGirk, friend to the Taliban and promotor of the 'secondary PTSD' defense for the murderer Hasa Noah Pollak at Commentary has discovered that Mr. McGirk has a rather interesting history: This shouldn’t be surprising coming from Tim McGirk. He went to Afghanistan after 9/11, had Thanksgiving with the Taliban, and wrote a long piece for National Geographic about what a great time he had and how we’re all just human beings doing our thing on this big blue marble, so let’s not judge. Then he went to Iraq and singlehandedly created the Haditha Massacre hoax. Then he went to Jerusalem and spent a few years slandering Israel. Now he’s trafficking in pop psychology on behalf of a likely domestic jihadist. It’s been quite a career.

POPSEnumerated Powers Act: Interview with Walter E. Williams
who has introduced it every Congress since 1995, it does not allow them to get away with the Commerce Clause and the General Welfare Clause. They have to specifically point in the Constitution where they get the authority. And as a matter of fact the reason the Enumerated Powers Act’s maximum number of co-sponsors in the House has been 31, or it could be a bit higher than that (and it has never had a co-sponsor in the Senate until this year) is that the Congressmen can read the writing on the wall. If Congress were forced to obey the United States Constitution, then I would say that two-thirds to three-quarters of all the spending Congress does would be found to be unconstitutional. ALL RIGHT MAGAZINE: You’re probably right about that. Article 1, Section 8 has a very short list of things government is able to do according to the word of the law. WALTER E. WILLIAMS: That’s right, and if you read the Founders’ statements, they say that Congress can only do those things....

POPSCampbell wants to see more black models from Hollyhood.
Naomi Campbell has hit out at fashion label bosses, accusing them of snubbing black and Asian models. Campbell broke down barriers when she became the first black model to appear on the cover of the French edition of Vogue in 1988, later repeating the feat in the magazine's, UK, Japanese and Chinese issues. But she insists that 20 years on there are still few opportunities for models who don't have "blond hair and blue eyes". In a message to fans on her blog, the supermodel writes, "Sadly, I don't see enough black women or any other non-white race in big advertising campaigns. As I have said before, companies are not putting girls of colour in their campaigns especially in the panic of the recession. "During any recession, it is at times like these that the companies should be open-minded and come up with inspiring concepts. I love blonde hair and blue eyes but the world is also made up of other colours that are just as inspiring and exciting and should be incorporated in campaign
