POPSClintons vs Obama = McCain.......AGAIN Century, the American Strategic Energy Fund. Let’s use our logo to make some flags we can give out. Let’s add flag symbols to the backgrounds.” A video on the internet of Hillary, is reported to have her saying something like ‘her’ supports should be heard at the convention, Seeing how they ran their campaign against Barack Obama, and a fellow American and fellow Democrat and now this latest article -- it is just heart breaking. Once this report is made public, Senator John McCain’s camp, I’m sure, will use these words made by the Clinton camp by showing them in commercials saying something like, “Even President Clinton and Hillary think Obama’s not patriotic or American enough to run our nation.

POPSPhysician heal thyself If you are a PR practitioner, give yourself some good PR advice itself. And if you fail then you make spinmeisters of the rest of us. Read the article below about how Burson-Marsteller's CEO Mark Penn shamed his firm or of Edelman's fiasco in Wal-Mart, which is now a classic story of what NOT to do in the blogosphere. This is a cautionary tale of how big names in PR aren't always better.

POPSClinton chief quits; lobbied for free trade deal Mark Penn, CEO of Burston-Marsteller, also advised Blackwater and represented Texas utilities attempts to build numerous coal-fired power plants over objections from environmental groups last year. Her chief campaign strategist, he was the CEO of an elite Washington lobbying firm, even while she criticized Obama in New Hampshire because his state campaign mgr there had lobbied at the state level.

POPSClinton's top strategist steps aside Man, this is getting really sloppy. Hillary's top strategist is out working on a deal that Hillary claims to vigorously oppose. I'd have to say that it's just enough already. I think it may be time for her to accept that she has not run a consistent, solid campaign and step aside.

POPSBring on the Crazy Train She (Queen by Divine Right of Marriage and Its My Turn Hills) wants to strangle Bill for sabotaging her for months, with his constant narcissistic “when I was president” talk. She wants to strangle Mark Penn, her chief strategist, the genius behind having her run as a hereditary monarch assuming the throne. And she probably wants to strangle herself for blowing this.

POPSHillary, Dodd Sleep with Defense Lobby
continuing: But now the construction and mercenary firms in Iraq have been reaching out to Democrats. “As Democrats continue to spearhead oversight efforts, defense contractors are swiftly hiring lobbyists with Democratic ties,” writes Lindsay Renick Mayer of the Center for Responsive Politics. To help answer questions about a rash of killings by his employees in Iraq, Erik Prince, the founder and CEO of Blackwater, hired the PR and lobbying firm run by Hillary Clinton’s top campaign strategist, Mark Penn. Penn is the CEO of Burson-Marsteller, whose lobbying arm, BKSH, prepped Prince for his testimony. Among the other companies in the metastasizing war profiteering network is the Fluor Group, which testified before Waxman’s committee about its construction contracts in Iraq. Fluor gave Hillary Clinton $5,000 in the 2006 election cycle, according to data collected by the Center for Responsive Politics. As much as the anti-war Left has tried to push Hillary Clinton on her vote

POPSFrank Rich Nails The War Profiteers In His Sunday Column War profiteering happens even in "good" wars. Arthur Miller made his name in 1947 with "All My Sons," which ends with the suicide of a corrupt World War II contractor whose defective airplane parts cost 21 pilots their lives. But in the case of Iraq, this corruption has been at the center of the entire mission, from war-waging to nation-building. As the investigative reporters Donald L. Barlett and James B. Steele observed in the October Vanity Fair, America has to date "spent twice as much in inflation-adjusted dollars to rebuild Iraq as it did to rebuild Japan - an industrialized country three times Iraq's size, two of whose cities had been incinerated by atomic bombs." (And still Iraq lacks reliable electric power.)

POPSHillary's Blackwater Ties We have to make the right decisions next election. We have come to close to the edge of tyranny. As a Nation we are bankrupt in money and name. The only way out is to get the best of the best.

POPSThe Hillary Exception Because George W. Bush has been such a terrible president, many Democrats have developed a sort of amnesia about the Clinton era. They forget that Bill reneged on his promise not to sign NAFTA without significant environmental or labor reforms, pushed for the Telecommunications Act of ‘96, which drastically consolidated the media, leading to Clear Channel and the like, and cleared the merger of megabanks. The coziness between politicians and big business did not start with President Bush.
