This gives us a really good look at how they make those fountains in the mentos video. We have to drill holes in the mentos and the caps and then string them on a wire. Does anyone have a drill we could use?

POPSThe MythBusters Mentos Exploding Soda They said this one was actually safe enough for everyone to try at home. How often do you hear anyone on the show say that? So sometime last year after this episode aired we did just that. We had some Mentos at the house. But Cheryl didn't have any Diet Pepsi handy. Which is odd because she drinks diet soda. I hate the stuff. So she picked up one or two 2 liters that day and we headed out to the lawn. Cheryl was the one taking pictures this time around. You can clearly see part of me holding the remaining Mentos in my hand.
