POPSGun-toting PA soccer mom, husband found shot dead
"Remember, there's no connection – and you would be a fool and a communist to make one – between having a gun and shooting somebody with it and not having a gun and not shooting somebody with it." – Bill Hicks More: Meleanie Hain made headlines after she attended her then 5-year-old daughter's soccer game in a park on Sept. 11, 2008, with her 9mm Glock pistol in plain view holstered on her hip, upsetting other parents. The county sheriff, Michael DeLeo, revoked her gun-carrying permit nine days later. Hain successfully appealed the permit revocation, although the judge who restored the permit questioned her judgment and said she had "scared the devil" out of other people at the game… DeLeo said at Hain's appeal that he revoked her permit after fielding the parents' complaints. He said he based his decision on a state law that prohibits certain gun permits from being given to anyone whose character and reputation make him or her a danger to public safety.

"Hopefully I'll talk to you again, but if not, have a good life. I know I'll see you again some day." There was Tom Burnett's famous call from United Flight 93. Wikipedia defines "open adoption" as " Open adoption means that the natural mother and adopted family know who each other are. There are no guarantees that the Adoptive parents will allow any contact at all with the natural mother. Open Adoption means that natural mothers know who the adoptive parents are. In some jurisdictions, the birth and adoptive parents may enter into a binding agreement concerning visitation, exchange of information, or other interaction regarding the child. POPSrestaurant: Pho Ga Hai Phong, Oakland
New restaurant in our neighborhood. Tasty food. More: Since age 9, Mommy had to cook all the meals for her entire family of eight, because her parents were out working hard to catch fish on their boat all day. She learned to make soup broth and other simple meals by wandering around and watching the neighbors cook. When she was 13 years old, she learned to make pho and honed her Vietnamese culinary skills…Mommy often worked in various restaurants…as a dishwasher or assistant in the kitchen, where she observed the chefs preparing exquisite dishes…It was Mommy’s dream to be the head chef of a restaurant where she could determine the menu items and share her home-style cooking and serve her family's favorite dishes, such as Pho Ga, Bun Rieu (vermicelli noodles with shrimp, crab, and egg soup), clam chowder, BBQ short ribs, and New York steak with everyone. This is why the Pho Ga Hai Phong menu offers 3 distinct cuisines: Vietnamese, Chinese, and American.
