POPSLeftist blog points finger at Palin, while scrubbing 'dead to me' rant
of representatives with "a bull's-eye on their district" for being a "bad apple" Democrat. The "dead to me" diary has since been deleted from Daily Kos, while Moulitsas' "target list" is still viewable. Police have named and apprehended 22-year-old Tucson resident Jared L. Loughner as the perpetrator of yesterday's massacre, making it highly unlikely that "BoyBlue" is also the shooter. The Daily Kos diary writer identifies himself as a "gay" man whose wife left him last year and who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the face. BoyBlue also appeared on the blog again today, issuing an apology to "this site, the victims and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords." "Most of you know by now my diary bemoaning Rep. Giffords' voting against Nancy Pelosi has been taken by the far right to preemptively protect themselves," Boy Blue writes of his now-scrubbed, previous post. "I made a VERY poor choice of words when I partially titled the diary, 'now dead to me,'" he continues.

POPSPalin has last laugh on PBS host, Kos Palin presumably knows the U.S. was born in 1776. But what Moulitsas and his crew didn't recall was that 1773 was the year of the Boston Tea Party, the inspiration for the grass roots movement that is threatening to sweep the Democratic Party from power in Congress next month. POPSPalin Makes Fools Out Of The Left - Again That won't happen, but it would be the right thing to do.Instead of playing victim because people call you on your ignorant mistake. Palin Makes Fools Out Of The Left - Again by Rob Miller http://bit.ly/aIvjBK http://joshuapundit.blogspot.com The Boston Tea Party, 1773 In Boston, the arrival of three tea ships ignited a furious reaction. The crisis came to a head on December 16, 1773 when as many as 7,000 agitated locals milled about the wharf where the ships were docked. A mass meeting at the Old South Meeting House that morning resolved that the tea ships should leave the harbor without payment of any duty. A committee was selected to take this message to the Customs House to force release of the ships out of the harbor. The Collector of Customs refused to allow the ships to leave without payment of the duty. Stalemate. The committee reported back to the mass meeting and a howl erupted from the meeting hall.

POPSReading List: American Taliban: How War, Sex, Sin and Power Bind Jihadists and the Radical Right We'll see far more reaction as the book officially hits the shelves on Wednesday, but I expect much of the same. Conservatives will hate it, for obvious reasons. Weenie liberals will hate it, for obvious reasons. A bunch of "serious people" will tsk tsk the lack of civility in our discourse -- now that a liberal is throwing the punches. And some people will appreciate that I'm throwing those punches. Because look, this book, ultimately, is a big "fuck you" to every conservative who has ever accused us of wanting the terrorists to win. Why would we? The reasons I hate the crazy Right is the same reason I hate Jihadists -- their fetishization of violence, their theocratic tendencies, their disrespect for women, their hatred of gays, their fear of the "other", their defiance of scientific progress and education, and their attempts to hijack popular culture.

POPSDaily Kos Forced to Admit It is a Fraud I don't buy the sheepish faux pas. They were going to get grilled on this and they knew it. The point is that all leftist trash is trash. Period. The fascist progressives can NEVER win an argument on the facts.

POPSThe Left Pounds ObamaCare, some more Even that single payer maven, Representative Weiner said on WNYC: (http://bit.ly/68EVxB) “I’m not taking the Senate Bill. We’re going to go into a conference hopefully, we’re going to get back to close to where the house is. We’re not taking the Senate Bill. That Senate Bill should not become law.” And " “Peggy Noonan, the columnist and former Reagan speechwriter, told Axelrod on “Morning Joe”: “On the issue of health care, you are losing the left, you are losing the right, you are losing the center. That looks to me like a political disaster.” Pretty much, ’nuff said.
