POPSMormons Hoping Fear and Prejudice Will Rule the Day As explicitly spelled out in the Mormon letter this is a solely religious viewpoint. So why would they expect others to respect or obey their edicts? If they choose to do so it's their business. Otherwise this is a matter mostly of rights that are being denied to a segment of the population. Bias and prejudice aside, there is no rational reason that gays be denied the rights afforded straight people. Majority rule does not imply correctness. Have we forgotten the manner in which we denied rights to Blacks? Have we forgotten the way we denied rights to Native Americans? The majority was behind these oppressive measures too.

POPSThe Amerikkan Beast Still Lives A significant number of soldiers are screaming that something is terribly wrong with the leadership and judgement of those who pushed us into this war — the false reasons for starting it; the slipshod manner in which it was begun; the lack of support for those on the ground; and the lies to the soldiers; not to mention the broken promises that Iraqis have suffered. And we at home are lied to when we are told that the US has "turned this war around." While hostilities have reduced, it is quite far from being turned around.

I love ya Kid but you really are missing that je ne sais quoit, that invisible element called charisma and presence. Hell, the PHONE BOOTH had more presence in the Bill and Ted Series! Do what every other bad actor did when he found he was over his head: play non-speaking roles or Native Americans! Hell, Jack Palance learned to act playing heavies and Indians and by his 70s he had his Oscar! Well, at least your debut was better than Costner and I am not talking about "Flyers" the Cycling movie. Costner began his career as the stiff (literally) in the coffin that brought old friends back together for his funeral in The Big Chill. He had over 4 minutes of footage taken with him in the casket and the editors dropped it to just over 4 seconds for release. You at least had a starring role and look, Ashton Kutcher is in your footsteps!

They don't get it. We love America just as much as they do. But in a different Way. You see, they love America the way a 4-year-old loves her Mommy. Liberals love America like grown-ups.
