POPSIrish Eyes are Smiling. And what a Smile. Good guys do win. After a successful amateur career, including winning the Walker Cup with the Great Britain & Ireland team in 1995, he turned professional later that year, joining the European Tour in 1996. He came to professional golf at a relatively late age, having qualified as an accountant and worked in the business for a number of years. POPSReport Slams 'Striking Lack of Recollection' in Tillman, Lynch Cases The article goes on: “On the key issue of what senior officials knew, the investigation was frustrated by a near universal lack of recall,” the proposed report stated. “The committee interviewed several senior officials at the White House, including communications director Dan Bartlett, press secretary Scott McClellan and chief speechwriter Michael Gerson. Not a single one could recall when he learned about the fratricide or what he did in response.” It's weird how politicians always develop amnesia when they're in trouble, isn't it?

POPSInteresting Canon XSi commercial Have to go to the site to see it since it is in flash. The second video is the making of the commercial which is also interesting. What is really ironic is they used 10 photographers who shot 70,000 images, but were using EOS 1DS MKIII cameras instead of the XSi which is featured in the commercial. It is still a pretty neat concept though.

POPSWhat I Want to Ask Mary Tillman I want to ask her what she thinks of a president who, armed with the facts, would lie over Pat’s dead body. I want to know if she believes George W. Bush belongs in prison. But I also want to ask Mary Tillman about the person her son was, and the person her son was becoming: the Pat Tillman moving against the war in Iraq; the Pat Tillman who was a voracious reader, turning his attention to critics of empire like Noam Chomsky; the Pat Tillman whose journal and personal effects were burned and destroyed immediately following his death. This is a Pat Tillman who deserves to be heard.
