"BUNDLING' EXPOSED AND EXPLAINED.

by mountainpalm  6-15-2011    1
Telecom executive Donald H. Gips raised a big bundle of cash to help finance his friend Barack Obama’s run for the presidency Gips, a vice president of Colorado-based Level 3 Communications, delivered more than $500,000 in contributions for the Obama war chest, while two other company executives collected at least $150,000 more. After the election, Gips was put in charge of hiring in the Obama White House, helping to place loyalists and fundraisers in many key positions. Then, in mid-2009, Obama named him ambassador to South Africa. Meanwhile, Level 3 Communications, in which Gips retained stock, received millions of dollars of government stimulus contracts for broadband projects in six states — though Gips said he had been “completely unaware” that the company had received the contracts. The term iWatch has given such people is “bundlers,” since they bundle together cash for the campaign. Here’s what the investigation found about these donors

More change (I believe) has come to the nation's capitol
altaloman
by altaloman  1-7-2011
Probably no lone is closer to an American President on a daily basis than his chief of staff, so it is no real surprise that President Obama has tapped a fellow Chicagoan for that post and his last name is (not surprising) Daley. Two years ago, the hallmark of Obama's run for office was the chant, "Change you can believe in!" Now, the whole world knows that the most noticeable change in Washington has to do with the appointment of most key players (going and coming) in the administration who hail from Chicago and Illinois. But then, virtually everybody who takes a job in Washington has to come from somewhere else, right? Why not Chicago?

The Marxist Roots of Obama’s Rage, Part I By Cliff Kincaid

After years of digging into countless pages of FBI files, KGB documents, Soviet media archives, dusty old copies of the Daily Worker, declassified Comintern Archives on Communist Party USA, and much more, my book was finally going to press, exposing how the communist movement, from Moscow to New York, cynically manipulated -- read: duped -- liberals/progressives for nearly a century. http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/08/howard_zinns_dupes.html October 1, 2010 American Thinker: Howard Zinn’s Dupes? Obama’s ACORN Connection Can’t Survive Inspection
merrie
by merrie  11-14-2009    1
When combined with the admissions of the member, it provides additional proof that ACORN and SEIU " with the help of the Obama presidential campaign " intentionally took government and tax exempt donations through organizations like Project Vote to run a partisan voter registration drive aimed at electing Obama. As President ,Obama has paved the way for ACORN and SEIU to receive stimulus money and ACORN favorites to receive prime appointments to both executive and judicial positions. Of course, Obama has admitted to limited ties with ACORN. But Americans have witnessed Obama run the country like one big ACORN office and trying to implement ACORN’s radical agenda. With so much to lose, lawmakers are concerned about the lengths to which Obama will go to in order to protect ACORN. Congressman Steve King of Iowa released a statement today suggesting that a cover-up may be being executed under the guise of an investigation: “Bob Bauer has a public record of defending .....

Obama Administration Policies Could Be Big Problem for Small Businesses
merrie
by merrie  8-30-2009    1
Textron was the single largest recipient of federal small business contracts. Textron is a Fortune 500 firm with 43,000 employees and over $14 billion in annual revenue. Textron brought in $775,773,505 in contracts through their AAI division. Other firms considered small businesses by the Obama Administration included, British Aerospace (BAE), Rolls-Royce, General Electric, Xerox, Office Depot, Staples, Dell Computer, AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, 3M Corporation, General Dynamics, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, L-3 Communications, GTSI, Raytheon, Boeing and Lockheed Martin. During the campaign, President Obama promised to restore the Small Business Administration's (SBA) budget, restore the SBA Administrator to a cabinet-level position and implement the 5 percent woman-owned small business contracting goal. Not one of these campaign promises has been honored. President Obama has apparently kept his campaign promises to the super rich members of the

NBC Selling “Yes We Did” T-Shirts
merrie
by merrie  8-25-2009    1
However, the t-shirt, above all, has the appearance of impropriety for a network that claims to report news and not just opinion and commentary. The implication of selling a “YES WE DID” t-shirt is that NBC was an active participant in helping the campaign as much as anyone who worked on the campaign staff, or, in the least, was an active supporter of Obama’s run.

Shocker: Obama-Run General Motors To Start Outsourcing Car Manufacturing
merrie
by merrie  5-8-2009
What this illustrates is that the problem with the domestic auto industry all along has been exorbitant labor costs. Or, put more bluntly, the problem has been the UAW. In order to become solvent going forward General Motors most find a cheaper labor pool so that it can compete with its foreign counterparts. That means getting away from the UAW in Mexico, among other places. In summary, we could have saved ourselves billions in bailouts and kept GM’s jobs in America if the Obama administration hadn’t insisted in essentially taking the company over so that the UAW’s labor contracts wouldn’t be re-negotiated in bankruptcy. Now that the UAW has been so artfully protected by Obama, GM has to go overseas to remain profitable. And if Obama blocks this move toward outsourcing (and he can’t be that stupid as even he knows he’s now tied to GM’s future), the company will collapse.

The Obama-Biden Ticket

Or Biden's call to impeach Bush if Bush bombed Iran: Because, the right approach with Iran would be to address their "emotional needs": Biden appears to believe that what is happening in the Muslim world is our fault. An incredible position to take by any rational measure. So incredible, in fact, that it makes him the perfect sidekick for an Obama run for the White House. Consequences of Biden’s Pro-Muslim Lobbying in the Balkans A man on the record for stating that “all Serbs should be placed in Nazi-style concentration camps” during Senatorial deliberations in 1999 over NATO aggression on Serbia http://www.byzantinesacredart.com/blog/
