This news is so juicy -- and so deep -- that I could feast on it for weeks. But First: For My Dear Fellow Americans: Notice > Dissolve the government (temporarily), with just the mere snap of a finger. #2 > News elections - new government in two months. #3 > A small party, like say: The Greens, or Libertarians, etc. - could cause this to happen by shifting sides (and gain significant power in the process. POPSPenny Postcards Tired of E-Cards??? Want to try something different for once? I found this site looking for a card for a dear friend's birthday the other day. I had to come back today to share it with all of you. It is fresh and funny and anything over a hundred years old that they can get their paws on you can find. POPSJapan orders Apple to investigate exploding iPod nanos Oh dear, just when we thought we'd had our fill of exploding Apple devices, along comes an Australian forum member named eeno who saw his first generation iPod nano go up in flames, and has some snuff-esque pics of the aftermath. As is usually the case with these things, eeno's iPod was charging when it happened. He says the force of the battery's explosion sent the iPod off his PC onto the floor, where it continued to smoke and spark until he unplugged the USB charging cable from the back of his computer. Since his iPod is out of warranty, the local computer repair shop didn't do him much good, but they did take a few pics to send to Apple. Hopefully this iPod was just an anomaly, and we won't be seeing a whole wave of these explosions as 1G nanos exit their warranties and head towards retirement -- but somehow we fear the worst.

POPSThou And Thou Only Well, first there is denial. You gotta get them well. Then there is anger. Why me? I didn't sign up for this; well, whoops, actually I did. THEN, comes the guilt. Like the guilt of wanting to do things together like you used to when your spouse was well. The guilt of having feelings that you have to close down like feeling sorry for your God damned well ass. But they forget to mention the shame. You are in another closet of sorts, pretending to everyone that everything is ok so people don't feel "sorry" for you in their smug superiority of comparing your life which sucks to their oh so much better one. And of course the fear and isolation, even though you are around ppl all the time; it never goes away. Sexual fears slowly become your reality. Ah, and then comes acceptance. Oh wait, maybe your spouse will get better? As you can see, dear readers, I'm not there quite yet.

POPSTeenagers charged in "Mortal Kombat" tragedy Read the rest of the article, the writer makes some very good points. These kids were old enough to know better, any sane person can't place the blame on video games. the could have gotten the idea form any visual media. Movies, TV, etc. There was alchahol involved. If thye had have been watching a Van-Damm mvowie before hand the same outcome would ahve likely been reached. Stupid people make me mad. They just gave the anti-video game camp a hand of ACES in the media... Here's an idea.. take resposibility for your own fucking actions.. What about the parents here.. obviously these "kids" should not have been left in cahrge of a 7 year old...
