Do We Have a Muslim Brotherhood Mole in the State Department?
merrie
by merrie  6-19-2011    5
. . . operates within the Brotherhood in Egypt and possibly other Arab nations as well. The Egyptian newspaper Al-Dostor confirms that the Sisterhood includes 63 international members in 16 different countries. The group is being portrayed by Western media in a benign fashion, as noted in Der Spiegel and on its Facebook page. But a report by the Egyptian opposition newspaper Al-Liwa Al-Arabi paints a far more ominous picture. It reveals that these women, who are “the wives of some of the highest-ranking leaders in the Muslim Brotherhood” are being recruited to: muggle secret documents for the members since women go undetected by security surveillance…to spread the Brotherhood’s ideology by infiltrating universities, schools and homes…to lay the plans for the Sisterhood to work at the state level… …to fulfill the interests of the Brotherhood and also to benefit from international women’s conferences and unify all efforts to benefit the Brotherhood globally.

Obama Just Announced Support For 1967 Israel Borders; And Here's How It's Going Over
merrie
by merrie  5-19-2011    4
Background and summary of events leading to war http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six-Day_War Main article: Origins of the Six-Day War After the 1956 Suez Crisis, Egypt agreed to the stationing of a United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) in the Sinai to ensure all parties would comply with the 1949 Armistice Agreements. In the following years there were numerous minor border clashes between Israel and its Arab neighbors, particularly Syria. In early November, 1966, Syria signed a mutual defense agreement with Egypt. Soon thereafter, in response to PLO guerilla activity, including a mine attack that left three dead the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) attacked the city of as-Samu in the Jordanian-occupied West Bank. Jordanian units that engaged the Israelis were quickly beaten back. King Hussein of Jordan criticized Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser for failing to come to Jordan's aid, and "hiding behind UNEF skirts".

Obama, Clinton, Piven, Ayers, Dohrn and Soros Behind Middle East Meltdown
lisa-vg
by lisa-vg  2-25-2011    7
Clinton and Obama claim that these protests are nothing more than democracy seeking youths tired of economic strife and ready for “change.” If this is true, then why is every nation being taken over by radical Islamic terror regimes, which have more than a thousand years of tyrannical history of being the most brutally undemocratic leaders on earth? Such massive seismic shifts in world power structure are never a coincidence. Like the Palestinian territory, Tunisia, Yemen and Lebanon, Egypt is under assault and about to collapse into the arms of yet another Islamic terror group, the Muslim Brotherhood.

US Vetoes UN Resolution Condemning Israeli Settlements
jerry23w
by jerry23w  2-18-2011
You cant expect a bully-boy to disobey its master, can you? While Obama jerks on the puppet-strings of the age-old masters of the world, the embers of ancient fires are fanned into flames as the arab world catches fire... I.M.H.O. when the muslim bros have gathered themselves into a big enough threat, the israelis will be justified in turning the whole of the middle east into 'occupied territories', with a little help from bully-boy, of course... (Something had to be done before the arabs get too well tooled up, not to mention iran...!) WIll China get involved? Nooo! They'll just wait until the 'christians and muslims' weaken each other to the point that they shouldnt have too much difficulty taking over the whole show... I.M.H.O.

Walid Shoebat: We Need Egyptian Army on our Side
merrie
by merrie  2-4-2011
This is by far the best interview I’ve heard on Egypt. Walid Shoebat goes into more detail than I’ve heard anyone go into regarding what created the crisis in Egypt. Now I’ve not listened to Beck’s entire caliphate theory, but Walid does talk about the socialist groups in Egypt creating this crisis and how the Islamists are trying to use it to take power. If anything he seems to be granting credence to at least part of Beck’s theory, which leaves me wondering why Beck hasn’t had him on the show. Shoebat also explains the role of armies in dictatorial countries like Egypt and why we need them on our side, which Obama is undermining. Awesome interview and a must listen. Enjoy! Palestine Papers: Al Jazeera, Guardian Release Documents On Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
ratilfar
by ratilfar  1-23-2011
It is hard to tell who appears worst: the Palestinian leaders, who are weak, craven and eager to shower their counterparts with compliments; the Israelis, who are polite in word but contemptuous in deed; or the Americans, whose neutrality consists of bullying the weak and holding the hand of the strong. Together they conspire to build a puppet state in Palestine, at best authoritarian, at worst a surrogate for an occupying force. To obtain even this form of bondage, the Palestinians have to flog the family silver. Saeb Erekat, the PLO chief negotiator, is reduced at one point to pleading for a fig leaf: "What good am I if I'm the joke of my wife, if I'm so weak," he told Barack Obama's Middle East envoy George Mitchell.

PLO Flies Flag in D.C.
merrie
by merrie  1-22-2011    1
PLO envoy Maen Areikat, in a statement at the flag raising, said the act "means the Obama administration is serious" about its expressed desire for an independent Palestinian state. The Obama administration, in July 2010, granted the PLO permission to fly the banner despite the D.C. mission's lack of embassy status. At the time, administration officials clarified that permitting the flag to fly does not mean an enhancement in diplomatic status for the PLO. In the Senate, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY, and 16 other senators from both parties, sent Secretary Clinton a letter on Tuesday urging the administration to oppose a resolution, currently being drawn up by the Palestinian Authority for consideration by the United Nations, that would have the U.N. dictate terms to Israel on borders and settlements - two contentious issues between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. "A resolution of this nature would work against our country's consistent position ...

"The Implacable Enemy"
merrie
by merrie  12-15-2010    5
In reality, the only solution is the military solution. But those who dream of peace see military conflict as the problem. It is no wonder that Begin was against the Oslo peace process, saying that the PLO leadership "will never change." The Palestinian leaders are implacable enemies of Israel. This is not so difficult to see, though it is difficult to admit for those who believe in peace. It is sad to say, but there cannot be a successful peace process with such an enemy. For such an enemy, peace is merely an interlude of talking, useful for setting up a future attack. And what makes the PLO implacable? The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) was founded in 1964 by a body of Palestinian representatives handpicked by the Soviet KGB. The first PLO chairman, Ahmad Shukeiri, was a KGB agent. The Soviet Bloc trained the PLO cadre, providing them with weapons and strategic guidance.

Israel Shatters Latest Pretenses of Peace Talks
citizenbfk
by citizenbfk  10-16-2010    1
Both the U.S. and Russia said in separate statements that they were disappointed by Israel's announcement and that the new construction plans run counter to efforts to rescue the negotiations. One 'joke,' from the article reads: Israeli officials said the new construction was confined to neighborhoods that THEY CLAIM would remain in Israeli hands in any proposed peace plan and in no way contradicted Israel's goal of MORE PRETENSES OF peace with the Palestinians. Another 'funny,' line from article: Israel's 10-month moratorium on new housing starts in the West Bank expired Sept. 26. Israel never formally declared building restrictions in east Jerusalem, though an informal freeze was believed to have been in effect for several months -- so this settlement building moratorium was a charade to begin with, never existed, never declared and this 'informal non-freeze,' maybe or maybe not was maybe or maybe not in effect for several months. It makes you sick just reading about it.

Obama Pal Rashid Khalidi Back in the News for Aiding Hamas
merrie
by merrie  7-21-2010    2
Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi's wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking. His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been "consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. . . . It's for that reason that I'm hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid's dinner table," but around "this entire world."... he warm embrace Obama gave to Khalidi, and words like those at the professor's going-away party, have left some Palestinian American leaders believing that Obama is more receptive to their viewpoint than he is willing to say. by Andrew McCarthy http://bit.ly/dsqebX http://corner.nationalreview.com

Israel and the psychology of "never again"
ratilfar
by ratilfar  6-6-2010    1
In 1988, it tried to weaken Yasser Arafat and his secular PLO by encouraging the growth of Hamas and its Islamic adherents. This "enemy of my enemy is my friend" strategy didn't work either, leading to years of attacks and reprisals and, eventually, to the 2009 war in Gaza. Fourteen hundred Palestinians died, compared to 13 Israelis from rockets fired from Gaza. Yet this invasion, too, missed its targets: Hamas remains firmly in power, and a kidnapped Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit, has still not been liberated from his Gazan captors.
