POPSOur Politicians are not Leaders Leaders lead. They do what's right, not what saves their political hides. The inmates are now officially running the asylum. Idiots. And shame on all those who wrote complaining. Now you might actually get to feel a real depression. Good Luck.

POPSSaakashvili’s Days Numbered Okruashvili also said that after 2006 Georgia didn't have the possibility for success by military means. “The Russians had repositioned and improved their military infrastructure in the North Caucuses, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia. He also criticized the United States for unwavering support towards President Saakashvili’s administration. “ “Lack of criticism from the U.S. allowed him to go too far,” Okruashvili said.

POPS Very Dangerous Months Ahead For Russia Asked when such an underground movement could emerge onto the streets, he added: "I don't think it can work before parliament election, but it can work between parliament elections and presidential election." The tycoon refused to rule out violence, but insisted the Kremlin would be responsible. "It's impossible to exclude (violence) in Russia. But the responsibility for this violence is the responsibility of government, as is all the time when the people go to the streets." "I mean force as what has happened in Ukraine, the Orange revolution, it was force because they pressed government but luckily without blood," he added. Democratic movements staged the Orange Revolution in the former Soviet republic of Ukraine in 2004, a popular uprising that brought pro-Western President Viktor Yushchenko to power.

POPS Iraqi Christian Political Refugees "Black-Listed" Christian refugees who have worked for the United States-led coalition in Iraq have run into a brick wall at the U.N. agency in Jordan that has been hired by the State Department to process asylum seekers, Newsmax has learned from interviews with over 100 refugees, U.N. aid workers, and U.S. diplomats in Jordan. Scores of refugees told the visiting U.S. delegation that when UNHCR workers discovered they were Christian, they refused to examine their documents. Many had brought letters and certificates of appreciation from U.S. contractors or the military to prove that they had worked for coalition, but were unable to present them. United National High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), which is being paid tens of million of dollars by the United States to process the refugees, has recommended just 2,000 out of the estimated 750,000 Iraqis now living in Jordan for resettlement to the United States.

POPS9 Year Old Boy Held In Terrorism Detention Center If they lived in Canada all their lives and had no intention of coming here, I say this is a clear case of way overreacting. They tried going home to Iran, was beaten for it, and ended up trying to run back to Canada. They were trying to get political asylum. No one could have seen what would have happened to cause the plane to divert to the states (if you read the article, you'll see what I'm talking about.) Because of that, the whole family is stuck in a detention center. Seriously people. Stop freaking out. At the site is a letter to the Canadian Prime Minister in crayon that is heartbreaking.

POPSAyaan Hirsi Ali I am in awe of this woman. Her story is amazing ! "Her ordeal has caused an outcry in the Netherlands, a country already uneasy with its recent waves of immigrants and asylum seekers, now representing almost 10 percent of the population. Many Dutch see the threats as an intolerable assault on the country's democratic principles. The threats have also intensified a fierce debate — one that can be heard these days across Europe — about what moral values and rules of behavior immigrants should be expected to share."
