POPS Stompernet The Net Effect Stompernet The Net Effect Stompernet The Net Effect - On StomperBlog.com, we’ve had a few questions and comments about the pricing. I mentioned yesterday that STSE2 was developed to be a $497 retail product. Some people thought that was a GREAT price. Some people expressed that they STILL wouldn’t be able to afford it. Before you count yourself out because of the cost just stick with us. I will stick by my promise to make this a “Can’t Say No” offer that will be affordable for EVERYONE. And I mean EVERYONE. Augmenting our SEO knowledge and expertise on these DVDs are several members of our StomperNet all-star faculty. We hired these guys to teach US inside StomperNet, and now we’re giving non-Stompers a chance to benefit from this collective pool of GENIUS!

POPSWhy You Won't See Michael Phelps on the Wheaties Box A clip from an AdAge article that outlines why Michael Phelps will be gracing the boxes of Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes—breaking the tradition on the biggest Olympic winners appearing on a Wheaties' box. The real reason? Kellogg's spends 96x more on marketing Frosted Flakes alone than General Mills spends on Wheaties ($11mm in 2007 vs $114 annually). Gold translates to gold. But it does raise the question as to why sugar-coated cereal garners more marketing might/muscle than a breakfast cereal that is perceived as healthy. Is it because "They're Great !" or because kids will clamor for them in the supermarket aisle and around the breakfast table?

POPSB. Obama Walks the Walk This article summarizes one of the main reasons I back Barack Obama. I believe in community service and helping out others in need and apparently so does he. We don't have to wait for him to finish being president to see him interacting with people who make less than $500k per year. To see him doing this stuff before he can score political points shows that this is the real him. Not a put on. The fact that he's called on to do these events shows his general respect level.

POPSMichael Phelps: ‘Naturally’ transhuman
* He has proportionately short legs relative to his long, powerful trunk; this large upper body is the engine that powers his long arms. Moreover, his unique physique reduces drag through the water and allows for maximum propulsion. * Phelps has a greater-than-average lung capacity allowing him to execute his underwater dolphin kicks longer than the competition. * He has a genetic advantage that cause his muscles to produce 50% less lactic acid than other athletes. This means he can work at higher work loads for longer periods. * With a low body fat of 4%, he is better able to convert his effort into speed. Looking at this list it’s as if Phelps was designed to swim. Which leads to an interesting question: Given the potential for genetic modification and gene doping, should it be acceptable for other athletes to acquire the same physiological endowments through artificial means? If not, what makes it so acceptable to come by these traits ‘naturally?’ And how
