POPSArgument to Beethoven's Fifth Sid Caesar and Nanette Fabray doing classic live comedy. Five minutes. No cursing, no bodily functions, no cynicism, no humiliation... Amazingly, it's brilliantly funny anyway!

POPSSave the Card, Do Something Better Walter Reed suggests visiting the “American Supports You” Web site where you can make a donation to one of the more than 300 non-profit organizations dedicated to helping U.S. troops and their families. http://www.americasupportsyou.mil/

POPSOrgan Donation Incentives? Over 6,000 people die each year in the United States while waiting for donated organs. For any number of reasons, most people do not sign their organ donor cards, or voluntarily leave their organs via their medical proxy. There are those who believe that incentives might encourage more people to donate their organs, who ordinarily would not have thought to do so. There are moral questions, and I thought this clip might give us all a lot to think about.

POPSBiometric ID for Britain I can see this being rolled out across europe. I know other countries have such technology in place, but in a purely voluntary basis. This scheme is not. Already the Irish govt is talking about this. Will britain be the guinea pig for the rest of the world? remember, britain is the most overtly surveilled country on the planet. So social conditioning has been hard at work to bring its population to the level whereby they will consent to this. Naturally there will be a controlled opposition to reign in any true opposition to this plan. Another scenario is everybody will have the ID card, but identity theft will be rampant and loads of people will be affected. And sure enough they will call on their loverly govt to provide a solution. (this entire process can be called "engineering consent" an old process) I'll pop your next post if you can tell me what that solution will be? :)

POPSA Virtual Business Card, Brilliant My next post will definitely be my virtual business card. I already am using my Gmail signature as a sort of "virtual" business card where I list all my social networking links and profiles. Now mine will not be nearly as impressive as Christopher S. Penn's VBC. Hah, I am already chopping it down to an acronym. I bet we will see much more formal virtual business cards and resumes. LinkedIn is a sort of virtual business card, but it doesn't allow for us social media freaks to list all of our websites. Who else will create a VBC?

POPSErosion of Civil Liberties Once Again Our civil liberties are already eroded in this country. If you have neighbours who gossip they can say whatever they like about you to the authorities and you have no right for appeal. I have neighbours telling people that I can walk without my sticks outside which is wrong. I have to go to the doctor tomorrow as my right side has become worse. If these busybodies are allowed to interfere with my civil liberties it is because the government has given them a free hand to do so. Now this article adds to my anger against our civil liberties being stripped away from us day by day, bit by bit.

POPSMoney and the Bible You already know I post often about being a good steward with money, tithing, and giving, as well as about how to generate income. Money and the Bible is written specifically to help us as Christians deal with our finances in a way that is pleasing to God and which follows Biblical guidelines. It's been my experience that handling finances this way leads to prosperity. More than that, it leads to personal satisfaction that I've done things rightly, ethically, and Scripturally.
