POPSPope Led Cover-up of Child Abuse by Priests This spotlight now after his recent "apology" for sexual abuse by priests that lacked any credibility. The Pope is a liar, like the devil, as history has consistently demonstrated. "By their fruits ye shall know them", Jesus warned of false prophets. Voila! Where is the repentance for his own role in these crimes of protecting the false church (the primary concern) through evasion and cover-up instead of prosecution and removal? Mass-mongering will never erase nor bring forgiveness for these heinous sins from either God or men! This Antichristian cult must be seen for what it is, a religious-political empire claiming "apostolic authority" of wealth and corruption, pomp, priest-craft, and unscriptural ceremonies that Jesus and the apostles never taught, but consistently warned about would come. This is NOT, nor ever was, a true Christian church or faith, but an impostor.

POPSDelayed Obedience Chase Hilgenbrinck left professional soccer to go to Catholic seminary for 6 years to become a priest. These two paragraphs go together--one after another. He is going because God has told him to. Let's don't worry about theological differences, many Baptists need to take this example.

POPSOutrage over bishop's abuse remarks Speaking from transit in Tokyo, they said Bishop Fisher's comments were outrageous. "We are still grieving over our daughters, and many other victims are struggling every day," he said. "To think this issue is over when the abuse stops is ridiculous. There are people self-harming, committing suicide, drinking, using drugs, because of sexual assaults committed by Catholic priests."

POPSTranslation of stone tablet that reveals "three days" motif There is another reference to this -3 days- that is in the Old Testament book of Hosea. Refer to Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us: he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After 2 days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.

POPSPope Reasserts Catholic Supremacy Over Protestants His Unholiness reasserts the pre-Reformation, tyrannical and usurping tradition of Papal authority and Roman Catholic supremacy as if Jesus Christ himself taught or authorized his ceremonial priest-craft and Latin Mass ( which is idolatry ), where his Blasphemy, through waving his magic wand and reciting Latin formula ( hocus pocus ) is able to (if you believe this) transform (transubstantiation) mere wafers of bread ("heil presto"--poof!) into the "body of Christ"! Jesus and the apostles never taught such superstition (which hails from Roman paganism, mixed well in its holidays and ecclesiastical hierarchy). The Pope is following the false teaching of Simon Magus, the sorcerer, instead of Simon Peter the apostle. Ritual, ceremony, miters, crosses, candles, pilgrimages, liturgies, and shepherd staffs all make a show of religion (tracing back to Babylonian religions) contrary to the writings of the new testament.

POPS4 Teenagers Are Arrested in Attack at Gay Shelter As much as things have improved in society in its acceptance of glbt people, these kinds of horrible incidents occur on a daily basis. It is important for the members of the gay community to NOT fall into a state of complacency, because homophobia is still alive and well.

POPSWhat is St. Elmo's Fire? As with all electrical phenomena, St. Elmo's Fire is about electrons. So, what is St. Elmo's Fire if it's not a form of lightning? Find out in the next section. I had no idea either and the film was a distraction from what it is.

POPSFor WHAT? One Man! And the Next WAR? And all for the lack of one assassins bullet. Where is Mossad when it's needed? "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" If he was such a bad man could no one be found to "judicially assassinate" this 'turbulent' ruler? Keeping the rules has NOT been the hallmark of this administration, so why not 'eliminate' Saddam? The truth is that he was never the target. Assassination would not have produced occupation. It would have save 4,000+ US lives but we have learnt that these didn't matter either. The out of sight, out of mind, no presidential presence at funerals worked for AWOL Bush. However the broken in mind and body will not go away so easily. Until they are swamped by the next lot.

POPSBoy Dies From Urinary Tract Infection While Parents Pray I never understood this logic. I mean, if you believe in the sheep-god, then surely you believe the sheep-god gave mankind the knowledge to heal. Healing is a positive thing right, so not likely of Satan. (Geez, trying to apply logic to Christianity is like trying to apply gauze to a porcupine.) So why avoid doctors? Ignorance can be fatal. When I was 14 and suffering from migraines my mother wanted me to go see a priest and get a "laying on of hands." I made it clear we should go see a doctor and I would have none of her medieval cures, that to me sounded about as good as passing a baby under a horse three times.

POPSStephen Hawking turned down knighthood
In an interview with Harlan Ellison I read recently at the Onion Av Club, he said something that mirrors this attitude but put a very fine point on it. After listening to a Jesuit priest give his personal interpretation of one of Ellison's stories, one that was terribly incorrect. Ellison took the stage and said this: "Well," I said, "what was your name again?" He said, "William," I said, "Well, look, Billy," because the minute you have to start calling someone "Father," you've lost the argument. And that's the problem with titles right there. The moment you have to call someone by one, you've already lost the argument. Where I work, I occasionally get doctors that insist with an air of arrogance that I refer to them by Dr. Well I work in a tech field and could care less what your damn title is. I know more than you if you are calling me for help and referring to you as such places me at a societal disadvantage. From that point on you don't even have a name to me. You are merely
