Previous videos showed the same pair, also posing as a prostitute and her boyfriend, visiting ACORN offices in other cities. The Philadelphia visit is significant because of a dispute over statements ACORN has made defending what took place when Giles and O'Keefe visited the Philadelphia office last summer. Supporters of O'Keefe and Giles said ACORN has lied about whether the two were thrown out of the Philadelphia office, how much time they spent there and whether they explicitly told ACORN workers that Giles was a prostitute. At a news conference, O'Keefe went through an edited version of what he said was a 32-minute visit to the Philadelphia office. What is it about the culture of ACORN that makes collaboration in prostitution standard operating procedure? No wonder that 67% of voters have an unfavorable view of ACORN, according to pollster Scott Rasmussen. One wonders about the 15% who have positive views"an even lower percentage than the 17% of House members who voted against defunding ACORN.

POPSDirtbag Lashs Out at Legitimate Charities and Slimes Their Good Names When news was about to break that Pike helped hide the embezzlement of nearly $1 million by the brother of ACORN’s founder, the order was “keep your yaps shut.” That would have been good advice here, rather than lashing out at legitimate charities and dragging their good names into ACORN’s sordid story.
