POPSChristian extremists inturrupt prayer offered by Hindu chaplain The article at TPMCafe.com about this incident notes that the group Operation Save America , and right wing anti-abortion group - has claimed responsibility for the interuption and issued a press release (which is available at TMPCafe.com) condemning the Senators for not "standing up for God" and claimed that the Senate Chamber has been "violated" by a "false" Hindu God. In the video, however, you can hear most of the chaplain's prayer, and in it, he prays that, "As we meditate on the transcendent glory of the Divine Supreme who is inside the heart of the earth, inside the light of the sky, and inside the soul of heaven, may he stimulate and illuminate our minds, lead us from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light..."
