POPSGrowth chart - adorable Awww. What a sweet way to mark your chid's growth. Easier to take with you than part of your wall or a door frame. Nice gift, I think

POPSDawning light Armies of compassion? Would this be the same armies wanting to bring back the eye-for-an-eye, keep your servants in their place, brimstoning land of peace and happiness? So much choice now, mad mullahs in the east, nutty christians in the west, just need to the rest of the world's main religions to hop on the loopy bandwagon. But no doubt that will put me down as a heathen/infidel (tick as appropriate), and have either a crusade/jihad (again tick as appropriate) levelled against my fine person.

POPSTassel Trim ornament not really moved by the wool felt - how about - ribbons - lace? - scrap material - oooo eyelash yarns - strings of smaller beads and wrap top with complimentary ribbon or wire - the large bead is nice - maybe more than one bead or found objects like all those shells I've been collectin' for forever!

POPSThe Puritans Are Controlling the Main stream media It is hard to believe that in these so called "days of enlightenment," two of our major television and news networks refuse to air ads for condoms. The days of young men guiltily approaching the pharmacy counter and whispering to the pharmacist that they want a box of condoms has been over for at least three decades. Yet Fox and CBS still imply there is something dirty about purchasing and using a product that not only prevents unwanted pregnancies, but has been proven over and over again to protect couples from acquiring sexually transmitted diseases. I don't know if these two networks are just kissing the asses of the Bush administration who believes sex is a four letter word, or if they are just so behind the times that they do not see the ridiculousness of their position. But someone should really make it their business to drop by the home offices of these two public servants, and explain the facts of life to them.

POPSMADD Volunteers Blow Whistle on Mad Murie
"When the public donates to local chapters the money stays in the community and helps fund services for victims and their families.... chapter leaders said they are trying to get the message out to donate locally to avoid the big cut in each donation taken by head office. Chapters have "red ribbon" boxes that take donations for the local group. However, a move over the past two years by head office to spread its own boxes (offering chocolate medallion mints instead of red ribbons) throughout Ontario is angering local volunteers. It is unclear how much the for-profit company that manages the national boxes takes from each cash donation." "Murie also, volunteers say, said that the Canada Revenue Agency regulator had given them a clean bill of health following an audit in 2002-2003. But a copy of the revenue agency's letter to Murie at the conclusion of the audit...states that MADD made "incorrect allocations of expenditures" and confused fundraising with charity." more at source

POPSCampbell's Soup goes pink I just saw this at the store. Campbell's donates 3.5 cents for every pink can of soup to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Is that the best they can do?
