POPS"CIA is taking over the churches" ?!
Case in point: Daniel Ellsberg. Once a seminary student, then an officer in Vietnam, and finally working for the nation's highest intelligence organization, he was ordered to compile all the records of our war in Vietnam into a readable history. Ellsberg got them published by The New York Times, instead of keeping them secret. Otherwise known as the Pentagon Papers, these records showed how America deceived its own citizens and fostered a war in that far Southeast Asian country, of which we are still feeling the effects today. President Richard Nixon, to try to discredit Daniel Ellsberg, set up the "plumbers" spies who ransacked Ellsberg's psychiatrist office. Tricky Dick then used these same plumbers to tap the Democratic Headquarters in the Watergate office buildings. Other former CIA agents, like Phillip Agee and John Stockwell, told their stories of intrigue and American meddling in the affairs of other countries. Using fear and misdirection it seems once again to be a weak attempt to defend the indefensible by a christian apologist.

Even with all of his comments, it's nice to have some background information on black liberation theology, the discipline in which Wright was educated. I did a Q&A with James Cone of New York City's Union Theological Seminary, and he touched on some topics that shed light on the issues that concern Wright and Obama -- like how the black community in America is, inevitably, angry. POPSGunman Kills 8 Israeli Students At Jerusalem Seminary
The Free Galil Brigades and Group of Imad Mughniyeh and Martyrs of Gaza'' claimed responsibility for the attack. The Soviet-made weapon has a longer range and is more lethal than the Qassam rockets primarily used by militants in Gaza. ``Israel will never allow terrorism to achieve its goals,'' Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said in a statement after the Jerusalem attack. ``Israel is at the forefront of the struggle against terrorism and will continue to defend its citizens, who are exposed to this threat on a daily basis.'' Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski said it was ``a sad day'' and called on the government to complete the construction of a barrier to separate the city from the West Bank. Hamas has ruled Gaza since ousting troops loyal to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and ending a partnership government with him. POPSBaptist Preacher Wants To Play God As if it weren't bed enough that they want to shove their interpretation of the Bible down everyone's throat, we now have Rev. Mohler wanting to play God. Mohler wants to change the sexual orientation fo a child in the womb. He thinks he knows better than God what a child sexual orientation is correct for a child? What is next? Maybe Mohler like some of his other homophobic friends will get caught with a male hooker and come out of the closet. You just have to love these damn hypocrites- NOT!!! They have forgotten that the New Testament contains a message of love not a message of hate. Maybe if they actually Read the Bible instead of thumping it things would be a lot better in the world.
