Add to the fact that Scott ran a test program on nearly 9000 people receiving government assistance and less than 350 of them (less than 4%!) failed the test. He also charged about $90 a test costing the state 2.7 million. Plugging in those same numbers and doing the math it easily shows that this program will cost the state more money than not having the program does. It was deemed an economic failure and the testing halted. A failure for everyone but Rick Scott and his drug testing company. This isn't about fighting a war on drugs, this is about someone abusing the system for self gain and playing to a crowd of people that want to believe that those getting welfare type services are lazy mooching drug users so they can point a finger at social services and liberal policies. In reality people that support this are self deluded sheeple that will support anything based on political principal even when its shown to be false.
