POPSNigel Griffiths the torrid sex romp truth. And they wonder why people despise Politicians. They also need to ask why no one bothers to vote. I am an avid follower of politics, and a luke warm supporter of one particular party. However even I put my X against the box increasingly begrudgingly. There is a crisis in our democracy, but it is a crisis caused by politicians and their words and behaviour. Griffiths is an odious little toad, but he is just one of many. What can be done? Not very much I’m afraid, it seems it is mainly worms like this that are drawn to politics nowadays, hence the interest in Daniel Hannans speech.
