POPSAnother Freedom Lost during Obama Campaign Richmond Virginia Election officials wish to tell voters what clothing they can wear. We have seen the attempt by this congress to take away our right to bear arms. We have heard talk from this congress to silence opposing views to their socialistic policies by enacting a fairness doctrine to police the airwaves. We have seen the government takeover of private business with this so called bail out bill, and now we see the assault on freedom of speech being enacted against our citizenry. In fact I may even go as far to say it would appear that the only candidate we are allowed to vote for is Obama from all the news coverage he seems to get. And with his own organization attempting to flood the voter registrations with bogus registrants, it surely does make one think what the "h" is going on in this country?

POPSCan ecology gain by the economic losses? Worldwide governments are taking over banks to 'save' the economy. Wallstreet and other trademarkets respond by going up in recordspeed, so there seems to be a happy ending..... I think that there is a way in which this financial crisis could be used in our advantage. If the governments decide: 1.to break down the barriers that are withholding developing countries to trade with the west 2. to only invest in companies that have sustainable policies, there would be huge protests by those that will suffer in the short run. But the real entrepreneurs will find ways to make money in a way that will not only benifit them, but also have profits for the planet as a whole.

POPSThe Camel’s Back: How to Never Explode With Anger Mary Jaksch says: "I’ve talked to many couples who have been on the verge of divorce. The trigger for the rift is often quite insignificant. Or it seems insignificant. That’s because little things can make a big difference." ..." I’m passionate about embracing each moment and living with awareness, joy, and kindness. Ongoing personal growth is the most important thing in life. Because we are born with a huge reservoir of potential. It’s only through personal growth that we can access and develop our full potential."

POPSDispute over US- Pakistani F-16 deal But the move has raised the ire of some representatives in Congress. They are blocking the payment because they say the money was supposed to go towards counterterror programs. "We are concerned that the administration’s proposal to use military assistance to pay for the F-16 upgrades will divert funds from more effective counterterrorism tools like helicopters, TOW missiles, and night-vision goggles," said Howard Berman and Nita Lowey, heads of two key committees in the House of Representatives, in a July statement.

POPSAzerbaijan tries to walk tightrope with Russia Some Azerbaijani officials are evidently concerned that if Baku expressed support for Georgia, then Azerbaijan’s own efforts to regain control of Karabakh would suffer. During the Moscow visit, Russian officials reassured Aliyev that he need not be concerned about Karabakh - yet. Medvedev stressed that the Kremlin did not see a connection between Karabakh and Georgia’s separatist entities. "Russia’s position has not changed," Medvedev said, referring to the Karabakh peace process. "We also support continuation of direct talks between Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents." Neither Aliyev nor Medvedev touched on the possible Russian large-scale purchase of Azerbaijani gas. Experts in Baku believe that Aliyev’s administration has yet to reach a decision on the matter, and is playing for time.

POPSPakistan orders troops to open fire if US raids This brings up two questions: Is Pakistan for or against helping the U.S. ferret out terrorists? Is Pakistan harboring terrorists and therefore should Pakistan be considered a terrorist state? The U.S. has given the Pakistanis millions of dollars for the purpose of fighting terrorism (and to keep Pakistan on our side) but it appears that this money was ill-spent. We are not getting a very good return on it.

POPSReligious Divisiveness Arguably the most divisive dogma of all religions is their claim to be God's chosen ones. This is the linchpin that justifies bloodshed, racism, and genocide. This exceptionalist doctrine is at the root of tension throughout the world.

POPSTrigger Points: Diagnosis and Management (peer-reviewed journal article) When I first started learning about trigger points, it was one of those lightbulb moments where you find yourself saying "OHHHHHH! That makes a LOT of things make sense now." Who knew that a tennis ball could be one of the most effective pain relief tools available? Hurts a lot while you're doing it, but feels SO good afterwards.

POPSFibromyalgia symptoms One of the reasons fibromyalgia is not as well understood as it could be is because patients have reported such a wide variety of symptoms. However, there is some consistency, particularly with the primary symptoms.

POPSCheney to Ukraine: US supports your security How much tension is this hypocritical, armageddonist is going to have a war, to keep he and GW in office, if it means a world war. Putin has to answer this and Dick passes the problem on. Why has he not been impeached?

POPSPolitical Analyst~OR~Partisan Activists??? Olbermann's dominance brings out the worst in Matthews. Even Brokaw. They are both more balanced, when KO is nowhere in sight. An insightful eye can tell the difference when responding to Keith they are timidly stammering for words far enough in the extreme left bias to satisfy him. And their facial expression shows it - clearly. They are resentful, pressured, and under the thumb of Keith Olbermann. At a later point, with Olbermann gone, they are confident, balanced and natural. Myself, I can ferret out this kind of passive-aggressive, irresponsible phony journalism. There are just too many out there that cannot see that the line between news and amateurish blog has disappeared ~ probably for ever.
