POPSThe Tibetan Book of the Dead Transference is that period of transition between one life and the next that occurs just before, during, and after death. The video discussions greatly help convey the intent and meaning of the book since they are in terms more easily understood by the western world. You can access the video by clicking links that will appear along the left side of the pages as you read through the book.

POPSObama Snubs Dalai Lama to Please China Obama is scared of China and he thinks that by snubbing the Dalai Lama this will somehow show China the U.S. knows how to choose its friends? This is a disgusting display of kowtowing. And Obama won the Nobel prize for what? Oh yeah, "Extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."

POPSIn April, 2008, Obama Says Bush Should Boycott Olympics If.... What goes around comes around.... I guess Candidate Obama told Bush to use the Olympics' opening ceremony as a diplomatic pressure point against the Chinese. Wasn't it Bush that got Chicago on the short list to begin with? The Olympic committee isn't going to give President Obama a chance to take his own advice in 2016..

POPSObama Meeting with The Daliai Lama Is Delayed more @ clip source For the first time since 1991, the Tibetan spiritual leader will visit Washington this week and not meet with the president. Since 1991, he has been here 10 times. Most times the meetings have been "drop-in" visits at the White House. The last time he was here, in 2007, however, George W. Bush became the first sitting president to meet with him publicly, at a ceremony at the Capitol in which he awarded the Dalai Lama the Congressional Gold Medal, Congress's highest civilian award.

POPSWhat is Bodhisattva? I had never heard this term before. Seems to me that the world would be a better place if we all had a greater understanding and appreciation for Buddhism. Just seems to be the practice of goodness.

POPSTibetan Sky Burial - DO NOT LOOK!! if you are sensitive believe that a person re-incarnates after dying the body serves no real purpose. There is no need to preserve the body, as it is now an empty vessel. Birds may eat it, or nature may let it decompose. The body is cut in specific places, and left on a mountain top, exposing it to the elements. According to Buddhist teaching, this makes it easier for the soul of the deceased to move on from the uncertain plane between life and death onto the next life. So as barbaric as this might look, there is an actual purpose to this.

POPSTummo Yoga. In common currency Tummo is related to the description of intense sensations of body heat, that are held to be a partial effect of the practice of Tummo-meditation. Tummo is taught as one part of the six yogas of Naropa. Stories and eyewitness accounts abound of yogi practitioners being able to generate sufficient heat to dry wet sheets draped around their naked bodies while sitting outside in the freezing cold, not just once, but multiple times. These observations have also been discussed in medical articles (Ding-E Young and Taylor, 1998).

POPSNothing At All Happens To 28 Tibetan Protesters, Their Families Reports of the highest order, released by officials of the highest order, confirmed a number of other events that absolutely did not happen. At 6:42 p.m., two fully manned paramilitary transports failed to arrive at the scene, and, as a result, did not send the already frightened crowd into a mass panic. After not being loaded into the nonexistent vehicles, the protesters were then not driven, deep into the night, to a remote rice field. Once there, the reliable report states that men and women were in no way unloaded from the backs of vehicles, made to strip off their clothes, and forced to kneel down, heaving backs toward the full moon. Nothing then occurred.
