POPSA Day in the Life of a Right-Wing Extremist Moxie's got your number....she looks both scary and fierce. Especially look out for 20 something, blond hair, blue-eyes females from the south. They are particularly dangerous. Take all precaution to protect yourselves from this mob.

POPSSwayze angered by reports he is near death I saw one of the tabloids over the weekend. It's sickening. Just a continuing example of what people will say/print to get some attention. The old adage "Don't believe everything you read" can almost surely be changed to "Don't believe anything you read". I wish him all the best in his battle as it helps in the progress of dealing with that horrible "C" word. I still miss Tony Snow.

POPSCancer's Unexpected Blessings In memory of someone I greatly admire and pray I can emulate when I arrive at this ultimate time in life. To finish well...what an ultimate blessing.

POPSPress Secretary/Tony Snow I enjoyed listening to the man, was happy when the President called him, admired his convictions and values, and am so sad that he is gone. The saying that "the good die young", for me, was exemplified when Tony Snow lost his battle with cancer. I despise that disease. Let's pour $$$$ into to this, OK?

POPSTony Snow Dies Rather than reading a glowing obit for Bush's former press secretary, I point you to a search of Think Progress for Tony Snow . It's not a career to be proud of.

POPSTony Snow, Dies at 53 Robert Anthony Snow was born June 1, 1955, in Berea, Ky., the son of a teacher and nurse. He graduated from Davidson College in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, and he taught briefly in Kenya before embarking on his career as a journalist. He became a nationally syndicated columnist, and in 1991 he became director of speechwriting for President George H.W. Bush. Snow had his colon removed and underwent six months of chemotherapy after he was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2005. In 2007, he announced that his cancer had recurred and had spread to his liver. He resigned from the White House weeks later and was replaced by his deputy, Dana Perino. After taking time off to recuperate, Snow joined CNN as a conservative political correspondent early this year. Snow is survived by his wife, Jill, their son Robbie and their daughters Kendell and Christie.

POPSTiger Pictures Siberian tigers are among the world's most endangered species. They are estimated to number less than 500 in the wild. In about 100 years only a dozen white tigers have been seen in the wild in India. POPSI don`t know from the Republican side Good to know he believed in what he was doing and thought that it was important to communicate the president's message and everything. As with most of the things Snow said throughout his 1.5 years as the WH spokesman, it's hard to know if this is an attempt at humor, a humongous lie, or more proof that Snow is just an incredible jerk. Like when he said that veteran reporter Helen Thomas was representing "the Hezbollah view", or claiming that the civil war and occupation happening on the streets of Baghdad was somehow comparable to Washington DC's high murder rate, or that Iraqi politicians deserved a long summer vacation (unlike US soldiers) because Iraq gets hot in the summer, or that 2,500 dead US soldiers wasn't significant because "It's a number, and every time there's one of these 500 benchmarks people want something", etc, etc. There are too many to choose from, so check out a few lists here and here. Good riddance, Tony Snow.

POPSSources: Tony Snow to step down Snow makes $168,000 as the White House spokesman. This goes to show why our government cannot relate to the average citizen. Not enough money? PLEASE......

POPSCancer's Unexpected Blessings I truly can not identify with Tony's thinking. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I haven't been where he is. But it's an encouragement to know that, while in the midst of knowing that your days are short on this earth, Christians can find comfort and inner peace.

POPSBush Creates Panel To Review Import Safety "This is not a slap at China." White House spokesman Tony Snow said. In recent years, about 66 percent of all U.S. product recalls have been from imported goods, and a majority of those are products made in China, according to Nancy Nord, acting chairman of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
