POPSHow do we - and to what extent should we - get bicyclists to obey traffic laws? More: Enter the Idaho stop-sign law. The rule, passed by the Idaho state legislature in 1982 and updated in 2005, essentially allows bikers to treat stop signs as yield signs. If a biker slows down and sees no cars coming, he or she can roll through a stop sign—a so-called "rolling stop." The "Idaho stop" has become a rallying point for vehicularists and facilitators alike—a sort of Great Compromise for bicycles.… Skeptics say that the rule would lead to more crashes. But a follow-up study of the Idaho statute found that accidents involving bikes actually decreased the year after the law was passed and haven't varied much since.

POPSAustin burn injury lawyer The public is prejudiced against motorcycles — other drivers often fail to see them or drive in a manner that subjects cyclists to harm. The result of collisions with motorcycles is often fatality, spinal cord injury, or traumatic brain injury, and often requires the services of a motorcycle accident attorney or a burn injury lawyer.

POPSWhich are the worst states for tickets? This article reflects what appears to be the majority view of drivers, and that is that cops monitoring our speed on our nations highways are a hassle. The solution to avoid getting a speeding ticket is simple: STOP SPEEDING. The traffic speed limit is clearly posted, everywhere. No one who gets a speeding ticket has the right to complain about it because they brought it on themselves. Those of us who drive the speed limit are constantly terrorized by fools who have no regard for the safety of anyone else on the road. They ride on your tail end as though you have no business being on the same road with them. This is true home-grown terrorism. I think there should be more cops on the roads to bring some sanity and safety to our roadways. Has anyone ever conducted their own study to see how much time they actually save by speeding from one place to another? Mere seconds or perhaps a minute or two at most is saved. And for what?

POPSImpeach Blo Go yes- I hope he goes- he has made the traffic laws almost unbearable- photocops fine you nearly $1000 for regular traffic violations- with no way to fight it.. people are leaving the courtrooms crying.. it even gets you if you stop past the white line- he is out for his own selfish interests... taking as much money as he can- not that speeding shouldn't be punished, and this is the law, yet.... what he is doing is unjust. He is just now showing his dark side and getting caught.

POPSPaying gasoline taxes without buying the gasoline Personally, I understand the need to fund road work but think enforcing traffic laws against those who tear up the road with unsecured falling objects from their truck, carrying more weight than legal, and busting up the side rails in DUI's, should be the way to prevent damage and pay for new roads. This guy deserves a tax break, he's certainly put enough money back in the economy paying for the conversion and all that oil.
