POPSThai school offers transsexual toilet Thailand is well known for its tolerance of transgender men, and they are very visible in everyday life. Sex-change surgery has become a speciality of the Thai health industry, and it is relatively inexpensive; patients come here from all over the world for the operation. Despite their high profile in Thailand, transsexuals complain that they are still stereotyped - they can find work easily enough as entertainers, in the beauty industry, the media, or as prostitutes, but it is much harder to become a transgender lawyer or investment banker. And their biggest complaint is that they cannot change their legal status. Despite a proposal during the drafting of a new constitution last year, to allow them to change the gender on their identity cards, this has not yet been approved. What the third toilet looks like .

POPSCircus goes Prime Time: See the pregnant man Another freak show hits TV. Oprah has normalized the Jerry Springer show. And I thought Freaks and Geeks was canceled from prime time TV. I guess I was wrong. This poor woman, man, trans gender, transsexual, mentally disturbed person needs help not applause. Our society has lots its moorings if this abnormal behavior is considered the new norm. God help us all. I really feel badly for Tracy, who was born a girl and apparently lost her way somewhere in her formative years. We need to pray for this lost soul who apparently hates herself so much that she was willing to mutilate herself in an attempt to find love she so desperately craves. What does society do? They exploit these poor souls for personal gain and aggrandizement. And to think that millions of people watch the "O" show. "O MY" might be more appropriate.

POPS2007 Sports Board post of the year I clipped this from the transsexual, cross dressing corporate board. Not that there is anything wrong with that...but this was really good. Yes, I'm turning lemons into lemonade.

POPSA Letter to Congressman Frank How many ways are there to discriminate? How many reasons are there not to do anything? What have you done personally to ensure the rights of yourself? If you are not a man, nor woman, nor black, nor white, nor old, nor infirm, and so on. A human person is still a human person, given the same chances, the same education and opportunities, and the same life circumstances. If not a human person, what are you that you can stand aside to let injustice, indifference, and intolerance rule the world? Stand to deliver. Take care for now, Cathy

POPSTransexuals Are Biggest Threat To Children? Hard to believe that prejudice against transsexuals is so deep that the police will harass someone simply for talking to children. You would think the police would know that the vast majority of child molestation cases are about heterosexual men and family members who molest kids, not members of the GLBT community.

POPS12-year-old Kim is the World's Youngest Transsexual. I have mixed feelings about this particular situation. I am not personally comfortable with the idea of having a child of such a tender age making a decision of such a monumental nature. I am also concerned about dealing with hormonal development during puberty. But, I am not a doctor, and all I can do is with the best of luck to Kim and his family.

POPS12 Year Old Becomes Youngest To Ever Have Sex Change Operation As a parent of a disabled child who's considering stopping my daughter's menstrual cycle from even starting, I honestly can't tell one parent what is right with their child and what is wrong. (My daughter is missing part of her brain and autistic and at the age of 11 has the mentality of a 5 year old.) If his, now her, doctors, parents, and themselves, felt this was the right course of action, then who are we to say. I'm sure others might feel otherwise, such as in the case of the parents who removed all reproductive organs of the paraplegic child, including breast tissue that was a hot topic no more than a couple weeks ago.
