POPSBoycott PETA, Not Michael Vick Showing it has no class and will stop short of no immoral act, PETA continues to equate cruelty that includes the killing of animals to The Holocaust. PETA forced its 2003 "Holocaust on your Plate" exhibition that juxtaposed human Holocaust victim images with images of factory farming. I don't care if it was a Jewish man who lost relatives in The Holocaust who created the exhibit. That fact does not make him infallible, nor does it justify a repulsive comparison. It only shows PETA's moral low ground. And it shows unfortunately the waywardness of the Jewish man who was exploited by PETA. Plus, many Jewish organizations and Jews feel the same way I do.

"We try to mimic what some of the encounters might be like," said Marcia Fritzmeier, a TDI evaluator who administered Hector and Yori's test. TDI's exam tests each dog's manners, obedience, ease around people and reactions to situations such as loud noises and meeting other dogs. Fritzmeier was aware of Hector's background before his test and paid special attention to his temperament, extending some of the tests to be sure Hector would be a good therapy dog. "I could not believe the degree of excellence he passed this test with," she said. "He never stopped wagging his tail. He just enjoyed every second of it."

POPSMichael Vick again Sigh..is there no end to this asshole? My partner says there is no way he will NOT be playing football again, which makes me question the morals and values we place on sports; am I the only one who thinks this is just wrong, if not 'technically' illegal or anything? We cannot legislate values or character, but do we have to reward people who have none so blatantly? Oh shut up those of you who say he's paid his dues! The fact that any team would even countenance hiring him, or anyone else play with him, is sickening..I'm sure I'll hear about this one from all you sports fans.

POPSFrom Fighters to Family Pets? Here's a youtube video showing the length some people will go, in order to save abused fighting dogs; Even pit-bulls whose jaws can rip your throat out. I like dogs and feel very sad for the exploited ones but this is a step further than I am willing to go to save these poor creatures of instinct (inborn pattern of behavior that is characteristic of a species and is often a response to specific environmental stimuli). Can you imagine allowing a fighting pit-bull, (such as the ones in the video) around your child...? I hope people with children or anyone vulnerable under their care would never adopt a dog like this... It's scary and it's crazy, in my opinion. Maybe not:-?
