Auto detailing business venture ? few finance plan questions ...

I’ll be the initial ‘investor’ so to speak in a good friends auto detailing business. he does outstanding work, so there is not much concern on quality of work.

I haven’t nailed down what my actual personal investment will be to get things rolling but?..

1) What percentage over initial investment do investors normally receive? Say you drop $10,000 to get a company off the ground, is a ROI 10-15% the norm?

I know they normally receive a percentage on their investment plus a percentage of the companies profits from there on out (low number 2-5%?), but in this case I’ll actually have an active hand maintaining accounts, new clients, and handling the finances.

2) Is a 40/40/20 split of profits about average for a 3-person setup (20 being mine *- note the reason the other two have higher % is based on one being the originator of the company and the other using his personal vehicle for company use).

Please help me line this up properly. Thanks in a
