POPSTaliban severs ties with al Qaeda - seeks peace No matter how CNN spins this - we have slaughtered the Taliban until their forces and leadership are depleted, and they have lost the will to fight. This is what is known as victory. It is the same sort of victory we are experiencing in Iraq. The democrats and the mainstream media are so unfamiliar with the concept of "victory" they can't recognize it. It is the kind of victory liberal democrats would never achieve, because it takes courage, foresight, and patient fortitude - - all qualities they lack. I believe only President Bush was capable of taking the war to the enemy, and seeing it through. History will be very good to him.

It is more than just a clock to the people of Edinburgh, it is a symbol of what we are. Free people who would rather die free than live in fear. Please help by signing the petition or posting an email to your friends. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to sign. Ross Douglas. An Edinburgh resident.

POPSgo out to vote this November 2008 Election year, to make your decisions not just based on issues sta I encourage all those within the community, who go out to vote this November 2008 Election year, to make your decisions not just based on issues stances but also on consistent character, virtue and temperament. Look for the candidates that do not make the popular decision, but stand on sound conviction. The networks are once again arguing and play devils' advocate over the petty follies of party loyalty and speculation instead of holding canditates accountable through substantive debate that is backed up by creditable research. Do you hate the bickering nature of politics before you that encourages disrepectfu belittlement with name calling and deceitful half truths to get ahead? I don't! It's time to put away childish things!
